Use Tab Autocomplete to Insert Emotes Quickly
Start Typing an Emote Name
In chat, begin typing the name of an emote you want to use. You don't need to type the full name—just the beginning is enough.
Trigger Autocomplete
Press the Tab key while typing. A list of matching emotes will appear, filtered by what you've typed so far. The list shows emotes from all your configured Twitch channel sources.
Select and Insert
1. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the suggestions
2. Press Tab or Enter to insert the highlighted emote into your chat message
3. The emote code will be replaced with the actual emote when you send the message
Tips for Faster Selection
- Type more characters to narrow down results if many emotes match
- Learn the prefixes of emotes you use frequently
- The autocomplete works mid-sentence, so you can use emotes anywhere in your message
This feature makes adding expressive emotes to your chat nearly effortless.
