How do I add emotes from my favorite Twitch channel?
Open the mod's configuration menu and enter the Twitch channel name you want to pull emotes from. The mod will fetch all available emotes from that channel, and they'll appear in your chat autocomplete immediately.
Why aren't my emotes showing up in chat?
Make sure you've added at least one Twitch channel to your emote sources in the config. If emotes still don't appear, check that the channel name is spelled correctly and that your internet connection is active when the mod loads.
Can I use emotes from multiple Twitch channels at once?
Yes, you can add multiple channel sources in the mod settings, and all their emotes will be available in your autocomplete and chat.
How do I use Tab autocomplete to quickly type emotes?
Start typing an emote name in chat and press Tab to cycle through matching emotes, or press Tab once to auto-complete if only one match exists. You can also press Tab multiple times to scroll through all suggestions.
Do animated emotes work, or do they just show as static images?
Animated emotes are fully supported and will play their animation in chat. The mod handles the animation rendering automatically.
What are zero-width emotes and why would I use them?
Zero-width emotes take up no horizontal space in chat, letting you layer them over other text or emotes for creative effects. They're useful for decorative overlays or compact emote combinations.
Do I need a plugin on my server for emotes to work in multiplayer?
For all players to see emotes consistently on a multiplayer server, you should install the corresponding Fabric or Paper plugin. Without it, emotes may only display for players who have the mod installed.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is designed to be lightweight, but loading many emotes from multiple channels may slightly increase startup time. Performance impact during gameplay is minimal.
Can I use emotes that aren't from Twitch?
The mod is built specifically for Twitch emotes, so you can only add emotes from Twitch channels. It doesn't support other emote platforms.
What happens if a Twitch channel removes or updates an emote?
The mod checks for updates when you restart the game or manually refresh your emote sources. Removed emotes will disappear from autocomplete, and updated emotes will reflect the new version.
