How to Loot Treasure from Abandoned Stoneholm Sections
Not every part of a Stoneholm village is inhabited. Abandoned sections are where the loot is, but they are also the most dangerous.
Identifying abandoned areas
Look for unlit or dim corridors, broken doors, cobwebs, and rooms with no villagers or workstations. These areas are cut off from the active settlement and often contain chests, spawners, or scattered resources. They may connect to natural caves, so hostile mobs can wander in.
Safe looting routine
1. Light the corridor ahead before you enter — never walk into darkness in an abandoned wing.
2. Clear mobs room by room rather than rushing; creepers in tight tunnels are lethal.
3. Check every chest, barrel, and corner — loot is often tucked in side rooms rather than the main hall.
4. Watch for spawners; if you find one, either light the area to disable it or break it after clearing nearby mobs.
5. Bring a shield and blocks to wall off sudden ambushes from connecting caves.
6. Mark the entrance to the abandoned section so you can return for a second pass.
Do not confuse abandoned rooms with active villager homes — breaking blocks or chests in inhabited areas can upset villagers and provoke Iron Golems. Loot only what is clearly unclaimed.
