How to Tell Other Players You're Available or Open for Collaboration

Setting Availability and Collaboration Flags

Open the status menu with U. Two of the parts you can toggle are Availability and Open for Collaboration. Availability is a general signal of whether you're present and able to respond, while Open for Collaboration tells others you're willing to work together — on a build, a redstone project, resource gathering, or whatever the server is doing.

Combining Statuses for Clear Signals

These flags work best when combined with the other parts of your status:

  • Available + Open for Collaboration — you're around and happy to team up. Good default when you want company.
  • Do Not Disturb — the opposite signal; use it when you're focused and don't want pings.
  • Base Status — describe what you're actually doing (for example, a build or a farm) so collaborators know what they'd be joining.

Where Others See It

Your chosen icons appear next to your head in the tab list for everyone running the mod. Players can glance at the list to see who's free and who's busy without asking. Remember your status persists across sessions, so if you set yourself as available before logging off, update it next time you play — otherwise people may expect a response when you're not actually around.
