Status Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the status menu?
Press the U key while in-game to open the status setting screen. From there you can toggle each part of your status on or off.
Do other players need the mod installed to see my status?
No. The mod only needs to be installed on the server, and vanilla clients can still join. However, if you want to set your own status, you need the mod on your client too.
Why can't I set my status on a server?
The mod must be installed on the server for statuses to work. If you're on a server without the mod, the U key won't do anything useful.
Where does my status show up?
Your status icons appear next to your player head in the tab list. Other players can see them there at a glance.
How do I stop the night from being skipped?
Enable the no-sleep option in your status menu. When you're in a bed, other players will see a message that someone doesn't want the night skipped, even if they don't have the mod installed.
Why do I see a message about someone not wanting to sleep?
That message appears when a player with the no-sleep status is in a bed. It tells you the night won't be skipped so you don't waste time waiting.
How do I show that I'm streaming or recording?
Open the status menu with U and toggle the streaming or recording option. The matching icon will then appear next to your name in the tab list.
How do I tell people I'm open for collaboration?
In the status menu, enable the collaboration option. This shows other players you're willing to team up or work together.
What does the availability setting do?
It lets you signal whether you're available or busy. Combined with the do-not-disturb option, it helps others know when it's okay to approach you.
Will this mod hurt my performance or cause lag?
The mod is lightweight since it mainly syncs small status flags between client and server. It shouldn't noticeably affect performance or cause lag on a normal server.
