How to Set Your Status in Status Mod
Opening the Status Menu
Press the U key while in-game to open the status configuration screen. This works anywhere — in a singleplayer world or on a multiplayer server, as long as the mod is installed on your client. If pressing U does nothing, check your keybind settings under Options → Controls → Key Binds and look for the Status Mod category to confirm or rebind the key.
Choosing Your Status Parts
Your status is made up of several independent toggles, so you can mix and match:
- Availability — a general indicator of whether you're around and responsive.
- Do Not Disturb — signals you don't want to be interrupted.
- Open for Collaboration — tells others you're happy to team up on builds or projects.
- Base Status — a free-form or preset status describing what you're currently doing.
- Recording — shows you're capturing footage.
- Streaming — shows you're live.
- No Sleep — flags that you don't want the night skipped.
Toggle each part on or off as desired, then confirm/close the screen. Your status is saved and will persist, so you don't need to re-enter it every session.
Verifying It Worked
Open the tab list (hold Tab by default) and look next to your own name — the icons for whichever parts you enabled should appear beside your head. Other players with the mod will see the same icons next to your name.
