How to See Your Total Load Time on the Main Menu
Finding the Total Time
Once loading finishes and the main menu appears, the mod shows the total load time for that launch. This is the final figure for the whole startup process, from the moment the game began loading to the moment the menu became usable. It is displayed on the main menu itself, so you can read it without opening any settings or debug screens.
Why the Total Matters More Than the Live Counter
The live counter during loading tells you how long you have been waiting right now. The main menu figure tells you the finished result — the number you actually want when comparing launches. Because it is captured at the end of startup, it is the stable value to record if you are tracking changes.
Practical Uses
- Note the total before and after adding or removing mods to see the real impact on startup.
- Use it to confirm whether a config change or a new resource pack made launches faster or slower.
- If the total creeps upward over several sessions, something in your setup is getting heavier — investigate recently added content first.
Because the figure is shown on the menu, you can read it immediately and then dismiss it from your mind; it does not persist anywhere you need to manage.
