Use Infinity and Mending Together on a Bow

The Ultimate Bow Setup

This data pack allows you to combine Infinity (infinite arrows) with Mending (self-repair), creating a bow that never breaks and never runs out of ammunition.

Steps

1. Obtain a bow and enchanted books for both Infinity and Mending

2. Place the bow in an anvil

3. Add the first enchantment (Infinity or Mending) using its enchanted book

4. Add the second enchantment using its enchanted book

5. Both enchantments will now coexist on the same bow

How It Works

With Infinity active, you only need one arrow in your inventory to fire indefinitely. Mending uses experience orbs to repair the bow whenever it takes damage. Together, they create a self-sustaining weapon that requires no maintenance or resupply.

Practical Use

This combination is ideal for:

• Long-term exploration without returning home
• Combat situations where ammunition scarcity isn't a concern
• Creating a reliable ranged weapon for endgame play

The bow will gradually repair itself as you collect experience from defeating mobs or mining.
