Restrict Mob Spawning to Specific Times of Day or Moon Phases

Setting Time-Based Conditions

1. Open the Sprout Weaver mod menu.

2. Select the mob you want to time-restrict.

3. Go to Natural Spawn Conditions.

4. Find the Time of Day setting and specify the in-game hours when spawns are allowed (e.g., only at night, only during specific hours).

Using Moon Phases

5. If you want to tie spawns to lunar cycles, locate the Moon Phase restriction.

6. Select which moon phases permit the mob to spawn (full moon only, new moon only, etc.).

7. Save your configuration.

Combined Restrictions

You can combine time and moon phase restrictions with other conditions like light level and biome. For example, you could make a mob spawn only during full moons in dark forests at night.

Testing

Confirm the mob only spawns during your specified time window or moon phase. Use /mobspawncontroller list <mob> to review all active time-based rules.
