Troubleshooting: Sprout Hat Not Showing

Check Your Mod Setup

The sprout model requires a compatibility mod to display. Verify that you have either Optifine or CITResewn installed and enabled. Both mods enable Custom Item Textures (CIT), which this resource pack depends on. You cannot use the sprout appearance without one of these.

Verify the Rename

1. Check your pumpkin's name in your inventory—hover over it to see the full name

2. Ensure it reads exactly Sprout (capital S, correct spelling)

3. If the name is wrong, use another Anvil to rename it correctly

Confirm Resource Pack Installation

Make sure the Sprout Hat Resource Pack is:

• Properly downloaded and placed in your resource packs folder
• Enabled in your resource pack list (moved to the "Selected" side)
• Listed above any conflicting packs that might override it

Test in-Game

Equip the renamed pumpkin in your helmet slot. If you still see a regular pumpkin instead of a green sprout, try restarting your game client completely.
