How to Create and Wear a Sprout Hat

Prepare Your Materials

You'll need a Carved Pumpkin and an Anvil. Carved Pumpkins can be crafted or found in the world. Place your Anvil in an accessible location.

Rename the Pumpkin

1. Open your Anvil interface

2. Place the Carved Pumpkin in the left slot

3. In the text field, type exactly: Sprout

4. Confirm the rename (this costs experience levels)

5. Take the renamed pumpkin from the output slot

Equip Your Sprout Hat

Once renamed, place the Sprout pumpkin in your helmet slot (the top armor slot in your inventory). The custom green plant model will appear on your character's head, replacing the standard pumpkin appearance.

Requirements

Make sure you have either Optifine or the CITResewn mod installed. Without one of these mods, the renamed pumpkin will display as a regular Carved Pumpkin instead of the custom sprout model. The resource pack alone cannot change the appearance without these mod companions.
