Matching Attributes to Your Combat Style

Different attributes serve different purposes. Understanding what each does helps you decide which combinations to keep when rerolling.

Attribute Guide

Damage boosters: Fire Damage, Cold Damage, Lightning Damage, and Poison Damage all add bonus damage and apply status effects. Fire sets targets ablaze, Cold slows them, Lightning strikes them, and Poison damages over time.

Survival: Lifesteal heals you based on damage dealt—great for solo play and staying alive longer.

Control: Cold Damage's slow effect and Explosive's area damage help control groups of enemies.

Raw power: Crit Chance multiplies your damage on lucky hits, scaling well as your weapon gets stronger.

Strategy

Decide your role: Are you a tank who needs Lifesteal? A crowd controller who wants Explosive and Cold? A glass cannon hunting Crit Chance? Once you know your goal, reroll until you get attributes that match. Then upgrade those attributes to maximize their effectiveness.
