Use Spider Pigs for Mob Farm Automation

Spider pigs work in farms unchanged

Since Spider Pig Mod is purely visual, spider pigs function identically to regular spiders in automated farms. You can build and operate spider farms normally.

Spawning and collection

Spiders spawn in low-light conditions on solid blocks. Build your farm with:

• Dark spawning platforms (spiders need light level 7 or lower)
• Fall damage or suffocation mechanisms
• Conveyor systems to collect drops

Spider pigs will behave exactly like regular spiders—jumping, attacking, and dying normally.

Loot collection

String and spider eyes drop from spider pigs just like regular spiders. Use hoppers and chests to collect these items automatically.

Cave spider farms

Cave spiders also appear as pigs in your farm. They have the same spawning requirements and drop rates as regular cave spiders, making them equally viable for automated collection.
