Troubleshoot Spider Pigs Not Appearing

Verify mod installation

Spider Pig Mod is client-side, so it only affects what *you* see. If you're still seeing regular spiders:

• Check that the mod file is in your mods folder
• Restart your game launcher completely
• Ensure you're using a compatible Minecraft version for the mod

Server vs. single-player

On multiplayer servers, only *your* client shows spiders as pigs. Other players see regular spiders unless they also have the mod installed. This doesn't affect gameplay or server mechanics.

Mod conflicts

Other mods that replace spider models or textures may conflict with Spider Pig Mod. If you have multiple texture or model replacement mods, try disabling others to test.

Resource pack interference

Custom resource packs might override the pig texture. Try temporarily disabling resource packs to confirm Spider Pig Mod is working.

Reload chunks

If spiders were already loaded before the mod was installed, they may not update visually. Move away and reload the chunks by traveling to a new area.
