Set Up a Multiplayer Village with Automatic Homes for New Players

Enable Village Mode

When you want your multiplayer server to automatically build homes for joining players, use the village mode feature.

1. Open your chat and run /beginnersdelight village enable

2. The command activates village expansion mode for your world

3. When new players join and spawn, the mod will generate personal homes near the spawn area instead of all players sharing one starter house

4. Connecting pathways will form between homes as the village grows

What Gets Built

As your village expands, you'll see:

• Individual wooden homes for each new player
• Pathways connecting the houses together
• Decorative structures like wells, farm plots, storehouses, and sheds
• All buildings use vanilla blocks, so they remain even if the mod is removed

Reload Settings

If you adjust configuration files and want changes to take effect without restarting:

• Run /beginnersdelight config reload
• This reloads all settings from your config file immediately
