Customize Your Starter House Layout and Contents

Access Configuration Files

The mod randomly selects from several starter house designs each time a new world generates. To customize what appears in your starter house:

1. Locate your mod's configuration file in your world or mod settings folder

2. Open the configuration file in a text editor

3. Look for settings related to starter chest contents, house design selection, or building placement

4. Modify values according to the available options (the mod supports multiple house designs)

5. Save the file

Apply Your Changes

For an existing world:

• Run /beginnersdelight config reload to apply changes without restarting

For a new world:

• Simply create a new world after saving your config—the mod will use your custom settings when generating the spawn shelter

What You Can Adjust

Typical customization options include which starter items appear in the chest, which house designs are available, and how the building adapts to terrain.
