Toggle Experience Drops from Spawner-Created Mobs

Enable or Disable XP Rewards

By default, mobs from spawners may or may not drop experience. Use this setting to control whether you gain XP from spawner farms.

1. Open your configuration file

2. Find the experience drop setting for spawners

3. Set it to enabled if you want XP rewards, or disabled if you prefer mobs to drop nothing

4. Save and reload

Strategic Use

Disabling XP drops is useful if you're running a pure resource farm (like a skeleton farm for bones and arrows) where XP would just clutter your inventory or cause unwanted level gain. Enabling drops makes spawner farms viable for XP grinding. Some players disable XP on certain spawners while keeping it enabled on others, creating specialized farms for different purposes. Experiment to see which setup matches your farming goals.
