Soul Forest Mod FAQ

It adds a mystical underground dimension called the Soul Forest, 29 unique ores, gem-polishing mechanics, about 12 new tool sets, 7 new armor sets, and powerful bosses. It also adds new mobs, a custom tree called the grapetree, and a custom achievements tab.

The mod is for Minecraft 1.7.10.

You build a portal with the same frame shape as a nether portal but use silver blocks instead of obsidian. To activate it, you place a silver ore inside the frame like you would use flint and steel.

It adds 29 new ores. Six of them generate in the overworld, and the rest generate in the Soul Forest dimension.

The mod adds mobs including the Blue Kotek, Yeti, Blue Slime, Snow Creeper, and a flying Fairy.

It is a giant underground world with large pools of water at the bottom and large patches of grass on the middle-top. It contains grass, dirt, Porphory, Slate, Granite, and the custom grapetree.

The grapetree has 6 types of vines: Baneberry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Cranberry, Razzberry, Raspberry, and Strawberry, and you can also find cocoa beans on them. The vines do not always spawn on the log itself, which the author is working on.

It adds 7 new armor sets.

It adds about 12 new tool sets, including 2 tiers above diamond.

The Soul Lighter is used to light the new portal, which is made with silver blocks.
