Quickly Sort Items Into Storage Without Opening Chests

Depositing Items in One Action

Instead of opening multiple chests to sort items, use Deposit to move items from your inventory directly into nearby storage.

Steps:

1. Hold the item stack you want to store, or have it in your inventory

2. Press your configured Deposit key

3. The mod will automatically place the items into nearby chests that can hold them

4. Items will distribute across multiple chests if needed

Controlling Where Items Go

Deposit into empty slots only: Hold Ctrl while pressing Deposit. This places items only in completely empty chest slots, useful for organizing by type.

Limit to specific inventory sections:

• Hold Shift to deposit only from your main inventory (not hotbar)
• Hold Alt to deposit only from your hotbar

Combining Modifiers

You can combine Shift or Alt with Ctrl for more precise control. For example, Shift + Ctrl + Deposit will place items from your main inventory into empty slots only.
