Control Fog Density and Spooky Atmosphere

Open Fog Settings

Access the shader options menu in-game and navigate to the Fog or Atmosphere section. This is where you control the creepy mist effect that defines Solis Blend's fantasy aesthetic.

Modify Fog Parameters

Look for sliders that adjust:

  • Fog density: Higher values create thicker, more oppressive mist; lower values give clearer visibility
  • Fog color: Some versions let you tint fog toward blue, purple, or gray for different moods
  • Fog distance: Control how far you can see before fog obscures terrain

Find Your Balance

If fog is too thick and blocks your view, reduce density gradually. For a genuinely eerie atmosphere, increase it during night or in dark biomes. Test in different locations—fog effects vary based on lighting conditions and biome. Caves and forests will feel more atmospheric with denser fog, while open plains may benefit from lighter settings.
