Customize Color Grading and Atmosphere

Locate Color and Tone Settings

Open the shader configuration menu and find the Color Grading, Tone Mapping, or Color Balance section. These controls let you shift the overall color palette of your world.

Adjust Saturation

Increase Saturation to make blocks and landscapes more vibrant, or decrease it for a more muted, atmospheric look. SoftShade's stylized aesthetic works well across a range of saturation levels.

Modify Warm/Cool Tones

Many shader packs include Color Temperature or Warm/Cool sliders. Warming the shader gives your world a golden, sunset-like feel, while cooling it creates a more serene, moonlit atmosphere. Experiment to match your desired mood.

Fine-Tune Specific Color Channels

If available, adjust individual Red, Green, and Blue channels to create custom color grades. This is useful for matching specific biomes or creating consistent aesthetics across your world.

Save Presets

Once you've dialed in a look you love, save it as a preset (if your shader supports this). You can then quickly switch between different color grades for different areas or play sessions.
