Thaw Frozen Water for Farming or Fishing

Problem

All water in the Overworld freezes with this mod, making it impossible to farm crops that need water or fish normally.

Solutions

Move to Underground Water

Water underground does not freeze. Dig down to create an underground farm or fishing area. This is the most reliable method.

Use the Nether

Water in the Nether is not affected by the mod's freezing mechanics. You can set up farms or fishing operations there, though you'll need to manage the Nether's unique challenges.

Build in Other Dimensions

The End and custom dimensions are unaffected by snow and freezing. Consider establishing your farming operations in alternate dimensions.

Workaround for Surface Builds

If you must farm on the surface, build your water features underground or in covered structures where the mod's effects don't apply.
