Keep Your Base Snow-Free

Challenge

Snow falls everywhere in the Overworld with this mod, including inside your base, making it difficult to maintain clear interior spaces.

Best Approaches

Use Roofs and Ceilings

Build solid block roofs over your structures. Snow only accumulates on exposed surfaces, so a complete ceiling will keep your interior clear.

Build Underground

Construct your base in caves or deep underground. Snow and freezing effects do not apply in underground areas, making them ideal for permanent bases.

Use Nether or Other Dimensions

Snow only affects the Overworld. Building in the Nether or The End completely avoids snow accumulation and freezing water.

Partial Roofing

If you want an open-air aesthetic, use partial roofs or overhangs over critical areas like crafting stations or storage to keep them snow-free while maintaining visibility.
