How to Build a Snad Launcher That Sends You Over a Wall
Snad blocks fling any entity that lands on them straight up, which makes them a cheap alternative to pistons or slime blocks for vertical transport. The trick is chaining them so you keep gaining height instead of just bouncing in place.
Setting Up the Column
Place a single Snad block on the ground where you want to launch from. Jump onto it and note how high you go — that first bounce is your baseline. Now stack more Snad blocks directly on top of each other to build a vertical column. Landing on the top of the column launches you again, and because you start higher each time, you clear more distance with every bounce.
Landing Safely
A tall Snad column will throw you far enough to take fall damage on the way down, so put water, hay bales, or a second Snad block at your landing spot to catch you. If you are launching over a wall, angle your approach so you drift forward as you rise rather than going straight up.
Practical Uses
Use a Snad column as a mob elevator: push hostile mobs onto it and they will bounce upward into a kill chamber or a holding pen. The same setup works for launching yourself onto a roof or over a fence without building stairs.
