Combine Raw Ore into Blocks for Storage
Crafting Raw Ore Blocks
Before you can use this mod's smelting feature, you need to create raw ore blocks from individual raw ore pieces. This is a vanilla Minecraft mechanic that works with iron, copper, gold, and other raw ores.
Crafting Recipe
Place nine raw ore pieces of the same type in a 3×3 crafting grid pattern (filling all nine slots). This produces one raw ore block. You can do this in any crafting table or your inventory crafting grid.
Storage Benefits
Combining ore into blocks before smelting offers major advantages: one block occupies a single inventory slot instead of nine, making transportation easier and storage more efficient. This is especially valuable when mining large quantities.
Workflow Tip
When mining, periodically combine raw ore into blocks as your inventory fills. This keeps your inventory manageable and prepares materials for batch smelting at your furnace station later.
