Print and Install Heraldry onto Your Ship

Print Your Design

Once your sail design is complete and saved in the Heraldry Table, use the print function to create a heraldry print item. This consumes paper and produces a printed pattern item that contains your custom design.

Install on a Vessel

Take your printed heraldry item and sneak-use it on the ship you want to decorate. The design will be applied to the vessel's sails immediately. If the ship already has heraldry installed, the previous pattern item will be returned to your inventory.

Swap or Remove Designs

To change a ship's heraldry later, simply sneak-use a different printed design on it. To remove heraldry entirely, use shears while sneaking on the vessel. This strips the artwork away without damaging the ship.

Duplicate Patterns

If you want multiple copies of a design without reprinting, place one heraldry print in a crafting grid surrounded by eight pieces of paper. This creates a duplicate print, useful for outfitting multiple ships with the same design.
