Copy and Paste Sail Designs Across Different Stages
Select and Copy Sections
In the Heraldry Table editor, use the pixel selection tool to highlight the area you want to copy. You can select individual sail parts or entire sections of your design.
Cut, Copy, and Paste Operations
Once selected:
- Copy the selection to store it temporarily
- Cut to remove it from the current location
- Paste to place it elsewhere on the same sail or a different sail stage
This is useful for maintaining consistent branding across all five sail stages of your vessel.
Work Across Sail Stages
The editor provides separate draft layers for each sail stage. Switch between stages using the stage selector, then paste your copied design into the new stage. Adjust positioning as needed using the move tool.
Isolate and Hide Sails
For larger vessels with multiple sails, use the isolation and hide features to focus on specific sail parts. This prevents accidental edits to other sails while you're working on detailed sections.
