Use Empty Hotbar Slots to Store Extra Items

Understand Column Storage

Slot Cycler lets you cycle through any item in an inventory column, including items stored above empty hotbar slots. This means you can keep backup supplies or utility items hidden until needed.

Set Up Hidden Storage

Leave a hotbar slot empty (for example, slot 5). In your main inventory directly above slot 5, place items you don't need immediately—food, blocks, or utility items like torches.

Access Hidden Items

When you need something from that column:

• Select the empty hotbar slot (press 5)
• Press G or use Alt + scroll to cycle through the items stored above
• The first item appears in your hotbar

This is useful for keeping your hotbar uncluttered while maintaining quick access to backup supplies. You only see the item when you cycle to it, keeping your active slots available for frequently used tools.
