Switch Between Melee and Ranged Weapons Without Opening Inventory

Setup Your Hotbar Column

Arrange your sword and bow (or axe and crossbow) vertically in the same inventory column. For example, place your sword in hotbar slot 1, then put your bow directly above it in your main inventory grid, aligned with slot 1.

Cycle During Combat

Select hotbar slot 1 (press 1). When you need to switch weapons:

• Press G to cycle forward to the next item in that column
• Press H to cycle backward
• Or hold Alt and scroll your mouse wheel to cycle

The mod displays a preview indicator next to your hotbar showing which item will appear next, so you always know what's coming.

Quick Swap Strategy

You can also press the hotbar number key again (press 1 twice) to cycle that slot without using G or H. This is useful when you're already holding the hotbar number in muscle memory during intense combat.

This setup eliminates the need to open your inventory mid-fight, keeping you focused on your opponent.
