Configure Alternative Control Methods for Cycling

Default Controls Overview

Slot Cycler comes with three built-in control methods:

• Press G to cycle forward
• Press H to cycle backward
• Hold Alt and scroll your mouse wheel to cycle smoothly
• Press a hotbar number key (1-9) twice to cycle that specific slot

Choose Your Preferred Method

Different situations call for different controls. The mouse wheel method works best during active gameplay when your hands are on the mouse. Keyboard keys (G and H) are better when you need both hands on movement keys. Double-tapping a hotbar number is fastest when you're already focused on that slot.

Adapt to Your Playstyle

Experiment with each method during different activities. PvP players often prefer mouse wheel cycling for speed, while builders might prefer keyboard keys since they're already using number keys. The double-tap method is useful when you're locked into one tool and need quick variants.

All three methods cycle the same column—use whichever feels most natural for your situation.
