How to Merge Slimes into Larger Ones
Gathering Slimes
Locate four small slimes in a swamp biome or slime chunk. You can identify slimes by their characteristic green, gelatinous appearance and jumping behavior. Smaller slimes are easier to corral than larger ones.
Creating a Merge Chamber
Build an enclosed space using blocks to contain your slimes—a 5×5 area works well. Push or lead four slimes into this confined space using a boat, minecart, or by simply walking toward them to trigger pursuit. Ensure they cannot escape.
Triggering the Merge
Once four slimes occupy the same small area, they will automatically merge into a single larger slime. This happens without player intervention—simply keep them confined and the merge will occur. The resulting slime will be noticeably bigger and more dangerous.
Important Notes
Merging consumes all four slimes to create one larger version. This increases the slime's size by one tier. You cannot merge slimes that are already at maximum size. Plan your slime farm accordingly if you want to control slime populations.
