Slime Merger Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I make slimes merge?
Get four small slimes close together in the same area, and they will automatically merge into a single larger slime. The merged slime will be one size category bigger than the originals.
Can I merge slimes of different sizes?
No, slimes must be the same size to merge together. Four identical-sized slimes will combine, but mixing sizes prevents the merge from happening.
What's the biggest slime I can create?
There is a maximum slime size limit built into the mod to prevent exploits and keep gameplay balanced. Check the mod's mechanics guide to see what the largest achievable size is.
Do merged slimes drop more slime balls?
Yes, larger slimes drop more slime balls when killed, making merged slimes more rewarding to farm than small ones.
How close do slimes need to be to merge?
Slimes must be in close proximity to each other to trigger a merge. Keep them grouped together in a confined space for reliable merging.
Can I stop slimes from merging?
The mod doesn't have a built-in toggle, but you can prevent merging by keeping slimes separated or by controlling spawn rates in your farm design.
Does this mod work with other slime mods?
Compatibility depends on how other mods modify slime behavior. Test it in your modpack, but the mod is designed to be lightweight and standalone, so conflicts are unlikely.
Will merged slimes affect my server performance?
The mod is lightweight and shouldn't cause lag, but having many large slimes in one area will have the same performance impact as any other mob farm.
Do baby slimes merge differently than adults?
Merging works the same way regardless of slime age—four slimes of the same size will merge into a larger one.
Can I use this in survival mode?
Yes, the mod works in survival mode and is designed for regular gameplay. You can build farms and merge slimes as part of your normal progression.
