How to Set Up Chat Filters and Party Command Protections
Chat spam and accidental party invites are common annoyances. Skyblock Tweaks includes chat filters and protections to cut the noise.
Configuring Chat Filters
Open the mod config and find the Chat section. You can add keywords or phrases to hide from chat. Add common spam terms, scam phrases, or repeated advertisement words. Filters typically match substrings, so keep entries short and specific to avoid hiding legitimate messages.
Party Command Protections
In the same section, look for party-related protections. These let you block or confirm certain party actions so you don't get pulled into random parties or accidentally trigger commands. Enable the protection toggles you want and review any whitelist or confirmation options.
Practical Setup Steps
1. Start with a small filter list and expand it as you notice recurring spam.
2. Test filters in a busy lobby to confirm they hide the right messages.
3. Keep important names or guild tags off your filter list.
4. If a filter hides something you need, remove that entry rather than disabling filtering entirely.
Review your list occasionally — as spam wording changes, your filters may need updating to stay
effective.
