Using Skyblock Dark UI on a Skyblock Server Without Losing the Theme
Server-Side Reality Check
Resource packs are client-side only. Skyblock Dark UI changes what *you* see; it does not change the server, other players' screens, or any gameplay. That means you can use it on any Skyblock server freely — but a server-forced pack can override it.
Keeping Your Dark Theme
1. Join the server and open Options → Resource Packs.
2. If the server pushes its own pack, it usually sits at the top and overrides yours. Drag Skyblock Dark UI above the server pack if the server allows client overrides.
3. Some servers lock their pack in place. In that case, disable the server pack (if permitted) or accept that its GUI will win.
4. Confirm the hotbar and inventory are dark after joining — server packs often reload on connect.
Skyblock-Specific Tips
- Skyblock HUDs (island level, cooldowns) are usually drawn by server plugins, not textures, so they'll keep working regardless.
- If a custom server GUI looks broken, it's a conflict with the server pack, not Skyblock Dark UI itself — reorder or remove one.
- Keep Skyblock Dark UI near the top of your list so it survives server pack reloads on every join.
