Combining Skyblock Dark UI With Shaders and Other HUD Packs

What Plays Nicely Together

Skyblock Dark UI edits GUI textures (menus, buttons, hotbar, health/hunger, XP bar). Shaders edit world rendering. These live in different systems, so they almost never conflict — you can run both at once.

Shaders

1. Install your shader pack as usual through your shader loader.

2. Enable it in Options → Video Settings → Shaders.

3. The dark HUD stays intact because shaders don't touch GUI textures. If the HUD looks dim, that's the shader's lighting, not Skyblock Dark UI — adjust shader brightness or disable the shader's HUD dimming option.

Other HUD Packs

  • Minimap / waypoint mods draw their own overlays and are unaffected.
  • Other GUI packs *will* conflict. Never stack two packs that both rewrite the gui folder — pick one.
  • Font packs are safe; place them below Skyblock Dark UI so the dark panels render on top.

Load Order Summary

Put Skyblock Dark UI above block/item packs and font packs, below nothing that also edits GUI. Test by opening the inventory, pause menu, and a chest — all three should show the dark theme consistently.
