Use Your Totem Effectively Before Death

Understanding Totem Activation

Your 3D character totem works exactly like a normal Totem of Undying—the visual change doesn't affect its function.

How to Use It:

1. Hold the totem in your main hand or offhand

2. Take fatal damage (fall, fire, drowning, etc.)

3. The totem automatically activates and saves you from death

4. You'll be healed and receive temporary status effects

5. The totem is consumed and disappears from your inventory

Keeping It Ready

• Place your totem in your offhand slot so it activates even while you're holding a weapon or tool
• Carry multiple totems if exploring dangerous areas
• Keep one in your base storage for emergencies
• Remember the totem only works when held—it won't protect you if it's in a chest or dropped on the ground

The 3D appearance is purely cosmetic. Your totem provides the same death-prevention protection as any other, so you can rely on it completely in survival situations.
