How to Sit on Half-Beds and Rest in Sit Mod

Using Half-Beds as Seats

Besides stairs and slabs, Sit Mod also lets you sit on half-bed blocks, giving you another resting spot that fits naturally into bedrooms and camps.

1. Place a half-bed block where you want to rest. Half-beds are the partial bed blocks that appear when a bed is only partly present.

2. Empty your main hand so you are not holding any item.

3. Aim at the top of the half-bed block.

4. Right-click to sit down on it.

When to Use This

Half-beds are useful when you want a low, bed-like seat without a full bed taking up space. They work well in small rooms, tents, or as improvised seating in survival camps.

Standing Up

Exit the seat the same way you would leave a minecart — press SHIFT by default. You will pop back to standing on or beside the block.

If sitting does not trigger, confirm you are aiming at the top face and that your hand is empty. Right-clicking with an item in hand will use the item instead of seating you.
