Simplecraft X16 Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I enable the resource pack?
Open your world or create a new one, then go to Options > Resource Packs. Find Simplecraft X16 in the available packs list and click the arrow to move it to the active side. The pack will apply immediately to your world.
Why do some of my blocks look the same as each other?
Make sure the resource pack is fully loaded by checking the Resource Packs menu—it should show as active. If blocks still appear repetitive, try closing and reopening your world, as block variations sometimes need a fresh load to display properly.
Can I use this pack with shaders?
Yes, Simplecraft X16 works well with shader packs and is designed to enhance depth effects when shaders are enabled. Install your shader pack separately through your mod loader or shader mod, and both will work together.
How do I see when my tools are about to break?
As your tools take damage, they will show visible wear and tear on their texture—cracks, discoloration, or weathering will become more pronounced as durability decreases. This visual feedback replaces the need to constantly check your durability bar.
Do item animations affect my game performance?
Item animations in this pack are optimized to have minimal impact on performance, but if you experience lag, try lowering your graphics settings or disabling other visual mods. The animations run client-side and shouldn't cause issues on most systems.
Why do some blocks look 3D while others don't?
Simplecraft X16 includes custom 3D models for select blocks to make them stand out visually. Not all blocks have custom models—only certain ones are designed with 3D depth to maintain performance and visual balance.
Will this pack work with my other mods?
Simplecraft X16 is a resource pack and should be compatible with most mods, but mods that add new blocks or items may not have custom textures from this pack. Check if the mod author has created a compatibility patch or addon.
Can I use this pack on a multiplayer server?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use Simplecraft X16 on any multiplayer server without affecting other players or requiring server-side installation.
How do I turn off the softer colors if I want vanilla colors back?
Go to Options > Resource Packs, find Simplecraft X16 in the active list, and click the arrow to move it back to available packs. Your world will revert to vanilla colors immediately.
Do I need a specific Minecraft version for this pack?
Check the pack's description or documentation for the compatible Minecraft versions—resource packs are version-specific, so you'll need to match your game version to the pack version you're using.
