Planning Your Layout

Before moving villagers, decide where your trading hall will be. Design individual stalls or rooms for each profession, leaving clear pathways between them. This organization makes it easier to find the villager you need and keeps your trading area efficient.

Transporting Villagers to the Hall

Gather villagers from your village or find new ones in the world. Hold an emerald or emerald block and lead them to your trading hall entrance. You can move multiple villagers at once, then separate them into individual stalls once they arrive. This is far faster than using minecarts or boats.

Organizing by Profession

Once villagers are in the hall, you can rearrange them by leading individual villagers to their assigned stalls. Keep your emerald handy so you can quickly move villagers if you need to reorganize. On multiplayer servers, this approach lets your team build organized trading centers together without the tedious transportation that older methods required.
