Setting Up Your Swap

Before you start building, prepare the blocks you want to swap into. Hold the block type in your main hand or offhand—whichever is most comfortable for you.

Performing the Swap

1. Hold down the Simple Swap key (default: Left Alt)

2. Break the block you want to replace

3. The block from your hand automatically fills the space

This works with any tool or by hand. You don't need to switch items between breaking and placing, which saves time when correcting mistakes or changing wall materials mid-build.

Tips for Speed

• Keep your swap block in offhand if you're using a tool in your main hand
• Pre-stack multiple copies of your swap block so you don't run out mid-project
• Release the key after breaking to avoid accidental swaps
• This works best for single-layer replacements; for larger areas, consider other methods
