Apply Colors and Formatting to Item Text

Coloring and Formatting Item Names

Use the mod's color and formatting systems to make item names and lore visually distinct.

Color Methods

  • Hex colors: Use ȷ#RRGGBB syntax (e.g., ȷ#FF5733 for orange)
  • Vanilla codes: Use &k for obfuscated, &l for bold, &m for strikethrough, &n for underline, &o for italic

Steps

1. Hold your item

2. Type /edit name ȷ#FF0000Red&_Sword to create a red name with bold formatting

3. Add formatting codes before the text you want to style

4. Combine multiple codes: &l&nBold&_Underline

Example

`

/edit name ȷ#00FF00&lEmerald&_Pickaxe

`

This creates a bright green, bold item name. Formatting applies from that point forward in the text, so order matters.

Note

Formatting codes work in both names and lore. Test your color codes in-game to ensure they display as intended.
