How to Open the Simple Fog Control Settings Screen

Prerequisites

Simple Fog Control does not add its own keybind or config file you edit by hand. All of its options live in a settings screen that is exposed through the Mod Menu mod. If you do not have Mod Menu installed, you will not be able to reach the fog options at all, so install it first.

Opening the screen

1. From the title screen, click the Mods button that Mod Menu adds.

2. Find Simple Fog Control in the mod list.

3. Click its entry, then click the Config (or settings) button on the mod's detail page.

4. The fog control screen opens with sliders and toggles for the different fog types.

If you are already in a world

You can also open Mod Menu from the in-game pause menu, so you do not need to quit to the title screen to change fog. Adjustments you make are applied immediately, which makes it easy to preview a change, look at the horizon, and tweak again.

What you will see

Expect separate controls for water fog, Nether fog, and terrain/overall fog, each with its own enable toggle and intensity slider. Because the mod is client-side, these changes affect only your own view and are not sent to a server.
