Use Emotes in Multiplayer

Perform Emotes for Other Players

Once you've set up keybinds, press your assigned emote key while playing on a multiplayer server or in a shared world. Your character will play the animation, and other players nearby will see it happen in real-time.

Coordinate with Friends

Emotes are useful for non-verbal communication. Use them to express emotions, celebrate victories, or roleplay without typing. Different emotes convey different moods—experiment to find which ones work best for your playstyle.

Limitations

Note that emotes are purely visual and don't affect gameplay mechanics. They won't give you any advantage in combat or building, and other players can't be forced to watch your emote—they simply see the animation if they're nearby.

Combine with Chat

For maximum impact, pair emotes with chat messages. Perform an emote and then type a message to create a more complete interaction with other players.
