Switch Anti-Cheat Alerts to Silent Mode for Discreet Monitoring
Enable Silent Tracking
By default, Silent Sentry sends cheat alerts to server chat where all players can see them. Use /acsilent to switch notifications into silent tracking mode—violations are logged but not broadcast.
Why Use Silent Mode
Silent mode prevents cheaters from knowing they're being watched. They won't see alerts in chat and can't adjust their behavior to avoid detection. This gives you better data on their actual cheating patterns.
Toggle Between Modes
1. Run /acsilent to enable silent tracking
2. Run /acsilent again to return to public alerts
3. Alerts are still logged to your server console and log files regardless of mode
Review Logs Later
While in silent mode, check your server logs regularly to review violations. Use /bsac to access admin controls and review detailed violation history. This approach lets you gather evidence quietly before taking action, making it harder for cheaters to evade detection through trial and error.
