Scramble Disconnect Messages When Leaving While Dead and Invisible

Enable Leave Message Obfuscation

If you disconnect from the server while invisible and dead, this setting hides your identity in the leave notification.

Steps:

1. Type /gamerule hideinvismsgs:obfuscate_dead_leave_msg true in chat

2. Press Enter to enable the rule

3. Drink an invisibility potion

4. Take fatal damage but don't respawn—remain in the death state

5. Leave the server or close the game

6. The disconnect message will show scrambled text instead of your username

When This Matters

This is useful on multiplayer servers where:

• Players track who dies and when
• Leaving while dead might reveal your stealth strategy
• You want to maintain complete anonymity during invisible gameplay

Disable If Needed

Type /gamerule hideinvismsgs:obfuscate_dead_leave_msg false to show your name normally when disconnecting.

Note: This only applies when you're both invisible AND dead. Normal disconnects while alive will display your name regardless of this setting.
