Display an Image on a Sign

Basic Setup

To display an image from the internet on a sign, you need the image's direct URL.

1. Create a sign (regular or hanging) and place it in the world

2. Right-click the sign to open the text editor

3. Paste the full image URL into one of the sign's text lines

4. Close the editor

If you have the mod installed, the image should render on the sign automatically. Other players with the mod will also see it.

Customizing Your Image

After placing the sign with a URL, right-click it again to access the Signed Paintings UI. Here you can:

  • Resize the image to fit the sign better
  • Align it (left, center, right)
  • Offset it vertically or horizontally
  • Pixelize the image to match Minecraft's blocky aesthetic
  • Add a frame using any block texture from your game

These settings are saved per sign, so different signs can display the same URL with different appearances. Experiment with the UI to get your desired look.
