Set Up Your First Buy Shop

Gather Your Materials

Place a chest in your desired shop location and fill it with items you want players to buy from you. Gather redstone dust from mining or crafting.

Link the Chest and Sign

1. Place a sign adjacent to your chest

2. On the sign, write [Buy] on the first line

3. On the second line, write the item name (for example: Diamond or Oak Log)

4. On the third line, write the price per item

5. Hold redstone dust in your hand

6. Left-click the chest while holding redstone dust

7. Left-click the sign while still holding redstone dust

Verify Your Shop

Once linked, players can left-click the sign to purchase items directly from your chest. The sign will display the correct item name automatically. If you're selling potions, the mod shows the full potion name so buyers know exactly what they're getting. Your shop is now active and ready for transactions.
