Verify Siege Stopper is Working in Your World
Check if the mod is active
Once Siege Stopper is installed, it works automatically—no configuration needed. To confirm it's preventing sieges:
1. Set up a test village by finding or creating one with at least one villager and a bed.
2. This is when Zombie Sieges naturally trigger in vanilla Minecraft.
3. Observe the area around your village. Without the mod, zombies would spawn in waves near the village perimeter. With Siege Stopper active, no siege will occur.
4. Check your log file (in .minecraft/logs/) for confirmation. The mod will log when it detects and cancels a siege attempt.
What you'll notice
Villages will remain peaceful at midnight. Villagers won't panic, doors won't slam, and no zombie waves will appear. Regular zombie spawning from darkness still occurs elsewhere in your world—only the village siege mechanic is disabled.
If zombies still attack your village, ensure the mod is properly installed for your mod loader (NeoForged or Fabric).
