Prevent Unwanted Warden Spawns While Using Sculk Sensors
The Warden Spawn Problem
Sculk shriekers summon wardens after being triggered multiple times. With this mod, *any* sound triggers shriekers, meaning even peaceful activities can accumulate enough activations to spawn a warden.
Isolation Strategies
1. Separate your sensor network from inhabited areas using distance or barriers.
2. Use sculk sensors without connected shriekers if you only need detection—place sensors alone to trigger redstone contraptions instead.
3. Build sensor arrays in isolated chambers away from your base, farm, or mob grinder.
4. Muffle sound sources by containing loud activities (mob grinders, farms) in soundproofed rooms away from sensors.
Safe Detection Alternatives
- Connect sensors to redstone comparators instead of shriekers to read signal strength without spawning wardens.
- Use sensors to trigger redstone lamps or note blocks for visual/audio feedback without warden risk.
- Place shriekers in dedicated warden containment areas if you're intentionally farming them.
The key is separating your detection infrastructure from your living spaces and high-activity zones.
