Troubleshooting: Showcase Key Not Working

If pressing the showcase key does nothing, work through these in order.

1. Cursor position: the key only fires when your mouse hovers a slot containing an item. Empty slots and the space between slots do nothing.

2. Keybind conflict: open Options → Controls → Key Binds and verify the showcase action is still bound to Shift + X. Another mod may have claimed that combination.

3. Wrong screen: the keybind is designed for inventory-style screens. It may not trigger from the chat box or from menus where no item slot exists.

4. Mod loaded: confirm the mod appears in your mod list for the current profile. A missing or disabled mod means the keybind will not exist at all.

Server-Side Limits

On multiplayer, the message may be sent but not rendered for others if the server or their client does not support the format. Test in singleplayer first — if it works there, the problem is server or recipient side, not your setup.

Last Resort

Reset the keybind to default, restart the game, and try again. If it still fails, check for a newer build of the mod that matches your game version.
